My son and I were hunting in Southern Co. during second season 22-30 OCT, We hike in about 4 miles so we can get away from any other hunters as we hunt public lands. We had hunted for 4 days without much sucess, We saw only a few cows and calves. But we were hopeful as a snow storm was moving in on Wed. I bought a cow call that was made by you. As I always carry a couple of call and a diaphram just in case, maybe I could atleast stop a Bull long enough to get off a shot. It was still kind of nasty on Thurs. morning when me and my son left camp but between the snow clouds I could see some stars once in awhile. We were a little behind schedule because of the 6" to 8" made the 4 miles seem like 8 miles as we wre getting to one of our spots we started hearing cows talking. My son and I went into stalking mode to try and see a Bull and get a shot off but no luck we got busted by a lone Cow on the other hill side, She spooked and all of a sudden we were in the middle of around 30 Elk all leaving the area quickly. I grabbed your cow call as it was thefirst one I touchedd on my lanyard gave 3 long estrous calls and waited in less than 30 seconds 4 diffrent Bulls answered, I was wanting to buy your bugle but just couldn't see spending the money on it, So I slipped a diaphram in and bugled back and went back to your cow call. To make a long story short your call brought in 2 Bulls at the end of October. So my son was able to shoot his first Bull ever at about 50 yds., Perfect shot the Bull traveled 10 yds and hit the ground dead. Because of your call you made an almost situation into a super memory for a Father. Now I am sure I will by your bugle. Don't let anybody say you can't call bulls after the rut, if you have the right calls you can.
Here are a couple pictures from the kids I took out for our Learn to Hunt Turkey program (Caitlin Solie 1st harvest of any species) and Alex Schutt (1st turkey) WI youth hunt.
This is my first turkey season using Mossback Game Calls. I would like to say thank you for the calls. I received them just before the beginning of our Learn to Hunt Program. The combination of the MossBack Game Calls box call and diaphragms has worked great for me this spring. I look forward to putting some of the other MossBack Game Calls to use this fall.
Thanks again

Howdy,
Here are a few pics of today's success. Andrew proudly displays his fourth gobbler in as many seasons and at age 10 is far ahead of me. I was 12 before I tagged my first. This bird is a 23 pounder with 1" spurs and a 9-3/8" beard. My MossBack Game Calls missed Friday's hunt with my 7 year old when he smoked a 25 pound 11 oz giant on camera for our show, but Saturday and Sunday I used the 2.5 seductress and slate. We got to the blind at 5:15 today as we roosted one within 65 yards of the blind last night. He and another headed south though and we played the waiting game in 85 degree temps with 25 mph winds and won the battle at 12:15 or 12:20 today. I would really like to get the zebrawood as soon as they are ready....either that or the sweet cherry whine. The Prodigal is good but the others are more visible with the labeling for promotional purposes. My turn next weekend unless my wife decides to try a 2 day opportunity instead of third season. Then I will hunt 3rd and 4th seasons.
Thanks,

I wanted to send you a quick email and thank you for a great product! Without the Widowmaker and Da Wild Thang Bugle I don't know if I would have been able to shoot this bull.
Here's a quick story of what happened. We had been checking canyon after canyon with no sign or sounds of elk. With only an hour of light left we finally got a response to Da Wild Thang bugle. As soon as we heard this bull answer the call from across the canyon we ran down the hill we were on and up the other side to within 150 yards of this bull. My buddy, Ryan Nelson, was the caller. He set up 80 yards behind me and off to the side. Ryan waited for me to get set up, and with one call from the widow maker cow call the bull came galloping down the hill like a horse straight for the call.
When the bull was 30 yards away and still galloping, I whistled at him to get him to stop. The bull suddenly skidded to a stop. With the vitals blocked by some quakes, the stare down began between me and the elk. At this time I was at full draw with the elk only 20 yards away. I only had a neck shot and elected to wait until I had a better shot. Ryan saw the bull starting to get nervous and as an experienced elk hunter he began calling again to the bull. The bull looked towards the call, then back at me, then towards the call and finally took the one step necessary. I hit the trigger and watched the arrow go right through him. The Widow Maker Call is so effective that even though the bull could see the call, the bull not knowing that it was hit, continued on towards the plea of the Widow Maker calls of Ryan. The elk only went 19 yards and stopped with his full attention towards the call. The elk had been shot through both lungs and was starting to feel the effects of the arrow, but still standing on all fours I elected to put another arrow in him. The second arrow hit its target and the bull ran right at Ryan who was still calling to keep the bull close. Little did he know how close that would be. When the bull got to within 10 feet of Ryan, he dove for cover as he didn't want to literally know what the rut was really all about. The bull then turned and stood there for a few minutes before he expired. Thanks for a great product! Looking back on the hunt, I don't think I would have had a shot at the elk or had him stay so close after the shot if it wasn't for the Mossback Game calls.
Thanks for the Great Product!!!

Tim Schneider just killed this magnificent bull as one of our heroes on our television show The Experience with Weston and Jodi!
Nominated by Pat and Nicole from Driven TV, Tim Schneider is the Assistant Police Chief of Plainview, a small town in Minnesota. His 8 year old son was lost to a rare form of cancer called Neuroblastoma. Shortly after his son's death, Tim was back on the job serving his community. For the show, Tim has appeared in numerous episodes. For the first show, Pat and Nicole surprised Tim at the police station in Plainview. Weston met them at Bluff Country Outfitters in Wisconsin where they hunted for deer. The second time Tim was invited back on the show they took him to Venado Creek Ranch in Texas with WWE Superstar Shawn Michaels and Shawn's wife Rebecca.
