MossBack Game Calls The Last Thing They'll Ever Hear

I am a native to Idaho and have hunted here since I was ten. I was raised trophy hunting as I was also raised on a ranch and beef was our major staple. I have pro staffed for many companies associated with the hunting industry. But never a call company where, I believed in the product so much, as I do with the Mossback game calls. It truly is the last thing they will ever hear. The Widowmaker has helped me take some real trophy elk in the state of Idaho, and have guided hunts in Nevada. I really love all genres of hunting and all game. But predator hunting has really become my passion. I hunt as many competitions as my wife will allow. Some of my accomplishments include many top twenty finishes at world, not quite up to my standards. Also two time Idaho state champions, one time Nevada state champions, reserve Oregon state champions, second at northwest nationals this year, as well as many classic hunt championships.

Brad Cantrell has been hunting and calling wildlife for over 20 years. He has several calling competition wins in both team and individual wins. Brad enjoys calling most all big and small game, But you can surly bet you have his undivided attention when you start talking Roosevelt and Rocky Mountain Elk, Mule and Blacktail Deer, Waterfowl, and Big Ol' Gobblers. He also enjoys guiding hunters and most of all sharing the outdoors with family and friends. Working in the outdoor Industry as a accomplished guide, cameraman, and Prostaffing for many different companies, he has allot of knowledge and hunting experience that he enjoys sharing with everyone. Sean is a life long outdoors man.  He began hunting deer as a kid.  Sean lives in an area in Northern California where he is able to hunt deer close to home.  He has 27 years of hunting experience and loves the sport.  He is mostly a bow hunter as are his two sons. Family is very important to him and luckily he gets to share this passion with them.  He is an avid deer and elk hunter.  Each year he gets to take off 3 weeks from his Electrical Lineman job to elk hunt in Oregon.  Sean says, "Since I started using MossBack Game Calls I have had great success. Between hunting, scouting and doing some wild life photography, I spend lots of time in the great outdoors."

My name is Joe Lieb. I suppose I might just as well come right out with it… I absolutely love to bow hunt white tail deer. No if’s ands or butt’s. It is a passion that slowly developed in me and it seems to get stronger with each passing season.

I grew up in Dubuque county Iowa and was fortunate to have a dad that bow hunted. Along with teaching me and my older brother how to shoot the bow he also taught us the respect every animal we hunted deserved. I got my first one, a Bear recurve, when I was six years old and loved to shoot. Although there wasn’t a hunt able population of deer around home in those days, I think I at least put a scare in every squirrel, rabbit and grouse within a three mile radius.

I started hunting whitetail with the bow around 1977. From the first time I climbed up a tree, I was hooked. At the same time, I realized how little I truly knew about them, and their habits. That began a learning experience that still continues to this day. I understood that the bucks could be a challenge and it seemed the bigger and older they were the more of a challenge it was to get in on them.

Thru my learning process I started to understand that the different vocalizations I had been hearing from the deer could be imitated to create some positive results while hunting them. Thru the years I practiced imitating the sounds I heard out there and developed calling sequences that have had a great impact on the number of mature whitetail bucks I have had the opportunity to harvest. I have written several articles that have been published by some of the major hunting publications dealing with calling mature white tail bucks.

I am very fortunate to have taken over twenty five Pope & Young and two Boone and Crockett bucks to date. As long as the fire to hunt them still burns in me I’ll be out there… Good Calling!
